Tony Romo escapes 'Skins game unscathed

Tony RomoAP
It was a night to remember for Tony Romo on Monday.
Forget that he boosted his reputation as a “tough” quarterback. That was unnecessary. It was more important that Romo pushed the Cowboys into a first place tie when the Dallas offense wasn’t at its best.
This was the type of game the 2010 Cowboys lost.
He motivated me to go out there tonight when I obviously wasn’t 100 percent,” Dez Bryant said via Dan Graziano of ESPN.com. “I mean, broken rib, punctured lung, and he’s out there. You’ve got to be willing to put yourself out there for a guy like that.”
Romo was obviously hurting during the game, but he escaped without sustaining any further injury.  He noted after the game he should only feel better in the coming weeks.  The Cowboys host the Lions before they get a well-timed Week Five bye.
