Vincent Jackson among several Chargers that didn't practice today

Vincent JacksonAP
A good portion of the Chargers offense missed practice on Thursday.
The most interesting name on the list is wide receiver Vincent Jackson. Jackson practiced fully on Wednesday and there haven’t been any previous reports about injuries to the Chargers’ leading receiver. Kevin Acee of theSan Diego Union-Tribune thinks that Jacksonmay just be resting after a heavy workload against the Patriots last Sunday. Jackson played 71 of the team’s 72 offensive snaps.
He joined fellow starting receiver Malcolm Floyd, tight end Antonio Gates and running back Mike Tolbert on the sideline. All of those players have injuries, all of them missed practice on Wednesday and Floyd left the Pats game with an injured groin. Norv Turner said Wednesday that Floyd could miss the Week Three game with the Chiefs and his absence today would seem to make that more likely.
The news is a little better on Tolbert. Michael Gehlken of NBC San Diego spoke to the running back who said that expects to practice on Friday and play on Sunday despite a calf injury.
The Chargers were also without safety Bob Sanders and defensive tackle Corey Liuget for the second straight day.

Injury update on Tony Romo

Tony RomoAP
Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is expected to play on Monday night against the Redskins after a medical checkup today on his fractured rib and collapsed lung.
Romo didn’t participate in practice today but did get another CT scan, and ESPNDallas.com reports that the puncture in his lung is small and could clear up in a couple of days.
Jon Kitna, the backup quarterback who would start if Romo can’t, said he’s fully expecting Romo to go on Monday.
Romo will likely get a painkilling injection to help him through Monday’s game. He also got a painkilling shot after suffering the injury Sunday against the 49ers.
The Cowboys have a number of players hurting: Wide receiver Miles Austin(hamstring), running back Felix Jones (shoulder), wide receiver Dez Bryant(thigh), center Phil Costa (knee), cornerback Orlando Scandrick (ankle) and guard Derrick Dockery (knee) all sat out today’s practice.

Mike Vick cleared to practice, but not to play yet

Michael Vick, Mike KafkaAP
As MDS pointed out earlier this afternoon, Eagles quarterback Mike Vick fully participated in practice on Thursday.
The team has since announced that Vick was cleared by an independent neurosurgeon to do so.
But that doesn’t mean Vick has been cleared to play on Sunday against the Giants.  Team spokesman Derek Boyko tells PFT that it’s a “constant ongoing process.”
At this point, there’s no reason to think Vick won’t be cleared to play.  But being cleared to take part in football activities in which quarterbacks aren’t supposed to ever be hit is a different proposition than being cleared to play in a game.

Former fourth overall pick finds his way to the bench

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders passes to teammate Hines Ward over coverage by Seattle Seahawks Aaron CurryReuters
The Seahawks haven’t gotten the kind of play they expected when they made Aaron Curry the fourth overall pick of the 2009 NFL Draft so they are giving someone else a chance.
Curry has been demoted to the second team and rookie K.J. Wright will take his place as a starting outside linebacker. Curry has been a starter since arriving in Seattle after a decorated career at Wake Forest, but he has never been particularly impressive at the professional level. In 32 career games, Curry has recorded 123 tackles and 5.5 sacks. He had his only NFL interception in last season’s playoff loss to the Bears. Eric Williams of the Tacoma News-Tribune got Curry’s thoughts on the move.
“I don’t even know how to put it into words,” Curry said. “But it is what it is. … Everything happens for a reason. There’s a purpose behind everything, and I’ll find it and learn from it and take off running. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens on Sunday. All questions will be answered on Sunday really.”
Curry’s last game as a starter featured the kind of play that has been frustrating the Seahawks since his arrival. With the Seahawks down 7-0 in the second quarter, a Ben Roethlisberger pass hit him right in the hands but Curry couldn’t make the pick with nothing but open field between him and the end zone.
Other linebackers from the first round of the 2009 Draft have been huge contributors, but Curry, who was considered one of the safest picks in his draft class, hasn’t done anything to put himself in the same class with Clay MatthewsBrian Cushing or Brian Orakpo to this point. The Seahawks likely hope that the benching lights a fire under Curry and gets him to play with something closer to the level he was at during his collegiate days. Curry’s contract is not guaranteed for the 2012 season, the last on his rookie deal.
Wright was a fourth-round selection out of Mississippi State in April. He has been in on seven tackles in the first two weeks of the season and started the opener in place of injured middle linebacker David Hawthorne.

Lions fans be glad that Mayhew and Schwartz don't listen to you when they make personnel decisions.

Cedric Benson to be hit with 3 game suspension

Cedric Benson Cincinnati BengalsWhen Titans receiver Kenny Britt and Buccaneers cornerback Aqib Talib weren’t suspended after being called to the principal’s office before the start of the 2011 season, it was widely assumed that Comissioner Roger Goodell wouldn’t be suspending any players who potentially violated the personal conduct policy during the lockout.
Unfortunately for Bengals running back Cedric Benson, that’s not the case.
Mike Silver of Yahoo! Sports reports that Benson has been informed that he’ll be suspended three games.  His appeal will be heard next Tuesday.
Benson will be permitted to play this weekend, when the Bengals host the 49ers.  Silver writes on Twitter that, if the appeal isn’t successful, Benson will miss the games against the Bills, Jaguars, and Colts.
Benson was cited for assault of a former roommate during the lockout.  He eventually resolved an assault charge from 2010 (for which he had been told he wouldn’t be suspended) and the more recent charge with a plea deal that resulted in a handful of days in jail, before the start of the season.
The suspension comes at a time when the Bengals are dealing with the news that 2.5 pounds of marijuana allegedly were received at receiver Jerome Simpson’s residence, where another six pounds of it were found.

Fantasy Football: Start em Sit em - Week 3

Start em

Carolina Panthers - Cam Newton and Steve Smith - Before you throw tomatoes because this sounds like a homer pick, listen up.  Forget about Newtons 854 yards and Smith's 334 yards this is more about the Jaguars than anything.  First the Jags have an excellent run defense, but their pass defense is weak.  Teams have only thrown an average of 29 passes against them, but that is going to change and it starts this week.  Teams are completing 65% of their passes for 7.7 yards per pass attempt.  This equates to an 11.7 yards per reception for their opponents.   Also you have to factor in the Jags only have 3 sacks at this point.  The Panthers already have struggled running the ball and I see them letting Cam spread the field yet again this week.  Also of note, Rashean Mathis is the Jags best corner and he primarily is on the opposite side of the field of Steve Smith.  If no adjustments are made it will be up to Derek Cox to handle Smith.

Detroit Lions - Nate Burleson -  The Vikings are finally getting healthy and they get Kevin Williams back as well.   Despite his absence the Vikings run defense has been surprisingly good allowing only 4.0 yards per carry, with him in the lineup you can expect it to improve.  The Lions had excellent balance in week one, but as long as they offensive line is protecting Stafford, expect them to throw around 60% of the time, like we saw in the Chiefs game.  Finally sometimes it's just a numbers game, and Burleson is the Lions leader in receptions right now with 12 for 153 yards and no scores, but I expect that to change this week.  Over his career Burleson has averaged 1 TD for every 10 receptions, so he looks primed for a score this game, and he should get no shortage of opportunities.  You should look for 70 yards and 1 score from Nasty Nate.

Buffalo Bills - Ryan Fitzpatrick - Yes he is going against the Patriots this week, and that is exactly why I say start him.  Listen the Pats are a good team, but they are not really stopping the other teams from raking up passing yardage as they are allowing the second most passing yards at 381 yards per game and 2 TDs.  If Fitzpatrick just does that alone he will net you 23 points, not too bad.

New York Giants - Ahmad Bradshaw - I am picking the Eagles to win this game, but I expect the Giants to do everything in their power to keep this a close game for as long as possible.  The Giants running game has struggled this year and the Philly linebackers are just what the doctor ordered.  They are allowing 146 yards per game at 5.3 ypc.  Expect a heavy dose of Bradshaw in both the running game and on screens to offset the Eagles potent pass rush.  He could easily have 120 all purpose yards and a score this week.

Houston Texans - Kevin Walter -
Yes the saints held Jay Cutler under 250 yards passing, but they sacked him 6 times.  I want to believe in the Saints defense, but until I see that against a team with and offensive line, I will remain skeptical.  Walter could be in for a big day in New Orleans.  He is returning from the shoulder contusion and has already been designated as the starter opposite of Andre Johnson.  This means he will be lining up against second year corner Patrick Robinson who has been picked on early this year and I expect that to continue this week.  Walter could put put up double digit points as a Flex or WR3 play.

Sit em

Cedric Benson Cedric Benson #32 of the Cincinnati Bengals runs with the ball during the NFL game against the Kansas City Chiefs on December 28, 2008 at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio. (Photo by Andy Lyons/Getty Images) *** Local Caption *** Cedric Benson

Cincinnati Bengals - Cedric Benson -   Benson started out the season nicely against the Browns, but he was bottled up against the Broncos who seemingly have a worse run defense.  That is puzzling in itself, but what is not puzzling is the plan to Sit Benson.  He is facing a 49ers defense that is #1 in the NFL allowing 2.5 yards per carry for 54.5 ypg and zero TDs.  This is a matchup you will want to avoid.

San Francisco 49ers - Frank Gore - Gore is one of three running backs in the NFL that I have a beef with.  Not only has he screwed me every time I have drafted him, but he is one of three that landed a big contract and have been no shows.  The others are D. Williams and CJ-not-Ok.  Gore will have big games throughout the year but it won't start this week.  The Bengals are allowing an average of 3.5 ypc, but that would actually be an improvement for Gore.  I do find it mildly interesting that Gore is averaging 2.5ypc, the same amount his own teammate are allowing defensively.

Chicago Bears - Jay Cutler - Cutler has a terrible matchup this week.  Not only is this a rivarly game, but Dom Capers is calling the shots for what should be an extremely aggressive defensive gameplan.  Everyone knows the Bears can not pass protect, but not everyone has the scheme or talent to make it happen.  Green Bay does.  Jay. . . duck early and often.

Dallas Cowboys - Felix Jones - I am not a believer in Felix Jones.  To me, he is a Reggie Bush knock off minus the hot girlfriends.  Everyone was talking about how Jones looked bigger and stronger while still having the explosive burst a few weeks ago.  Ok, well where is it?  Jones is averaging a miserable 2.7 ypc that has gotten him a total of 69 yards and a score.  Now Jones is a good receiver out of the backfield but with only 4 catches for 27 yards he isn't going to help you out there either.

Roy Helu said he is just getting familiar with Shanahan's zone scheme

Mike-Shanahan-is-high-on-Roy-Helu

Roy Helu said he's just now getting used to the Redskins' one-cut scheme.
Helu played seven snaps in Week 1 and then broke out with 112 total yards on 26 snaps in Week 2. "Coming from a different scheme in college, I didn't do that as well," Helu said of coach Mike Shanahan's system. Helu is a better pure runner than Tim Hightower and getting more comfortable by the week. The rookie needs to be owned as he presses to make this a committee, hot-hand kind of backfield.

A lot of the talk about him being selected by the skins was that he ran a one cut zone scheme at Nebraska.  The thought was that he would just transition right in quickly.  Week 2 is still quickly but if he is just now getting the feel of it, then expect continued growth as he settles into the system.

Alex Smith cleared to play against the Bengals

Alex Smith - QB - 49ers
Alex Smith (concussion) has already been medically cleared to play in Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Smith suffered his low-grade concussion during Week 2 but never came out of the game. According to the Niners, they have followed concussion protocol and Smith has been cleared by both a team physician and an independent neurological consultant.

TTR's Week 3 Picks

Current record 22-10
Last Week 12-4

Sunday

Jaguars at Panthers -  The battle of the '95 expansion teams.  The Jaguars have a lot of talent on this team, but they are lacking it in two huge areas, QB and WR.  Gabbert looks like he has the tools, but is he prepared to lead this team?  It might be time to find out.  On the other hand we all thought the Panthers would be atrocious this year.  I personally expected Cam Newton to be a disaster this season.  Mainly because I really felt he was a player that would benefit from sitting for a year.  The season is young, but it looks like I couldn't have been more wrong to this point.  Cam Newton has stunned everyone with his production at this point with 854 yards passing and 3 TDs.  He has thrown 4 picks, but that is going to happen with a rookie that throws 35+ passes a game.   Newton will have to throw for the Panthers to win.  Despite being 1-1, the Jags have allowed an average of 72 yards per game and only 6 rushing first downs.  Opposing teams are averaging a lowly 3.2 yards per carry.  While Carolina offensively are only averaging 72.5ypg at 3.0ypc.  This all equates to a lot of passing for Newton this week.   The Panthers win a close one 20-17.

Lions at Vikings - The Vikings have dominated this matchup since 1998, with a record of 21-3 in that stretch.  The Lions have not won at the Metrodome since 1997, but that is about to change.  Minnesota's first two games were against playoff hopefuls so for them to come out 0-2 is not exactly shocking.  The Vikings played the Bucs a lot tougher than they did the Chargers, but it really all came down to offensive execution.  Against the SD they couldn't move the ball allowing the Chargers to dominate in ToP and it clearly hurt their defense.  Against TB they were able to move the ball and move close to a ToP split, and the defense looked better.   This week the challenge does not get any easier with a Lions offense averaging 421 yards and 34.24 minutes of ToP per game.  The Vikings will want to run AP early and often and he should have some success, but eventually the Vikings will have to throw to stay in the game and they will lose the track meet.   Lions finally win in the Metrodome, 34-20

49ers at Bengals - The Bengals hopes will be thrust on the young right arm of Andy Dalton this week.  The 49ers boast the NFL's top run defense after two weeks, allowing only 2.5ypc for 54.5ypg and 8 first downs.  Not good news for an opponent with a rookie QB.  Without a running game the 49ers should be able to get after Dalton with the pass rush and improve on their already impressive 6 sacks.  Dalton has played very well in through 1 1/2 games with 413 yards and 3 TDs but the 49ers are going to be in his face all day with an attacking style defense.  Because of their defense, the Niners roll on the road 31-14.

Dolphins at Browns - The Browns passing defense has produced an exceptional #2 ranking, but their pass defense is an impostor.  The fact that they are allowing 165.5 ypg is great, but they did it against Andy Dalton, Bruce Gradkowski, and Kerry Collins.  Excuse me for not being a believer yet.  This week the Dolphins pose a more legitimate threat.  After having a over 400 yards passing against the Pats, Henne and the offense fell flat against the Texans with only 170 yards passing in a loss.  Which Dolphins team is going to show up this week?  My money is on somewhere in the middle. Reggie Bush will get more than 1 reception as I expect the fish to pass for 230-260 yards and win a close game,  20-17.

Patriots at Bills - If you told anyone in football that the Bills would be the highest scoring team in the league by week 3, they would have laughed at you.  But with 39.5 ppg that is exactly where the Bills are sitting.  But this week they are finally playing a real contender.  The Patriots have been allowing an average of 22.5ppg over the first two weeks.  I think this game really comes down to pressure on the QBs.  Patriots have gotten 6 sacks and allowed only 3, while the Bills have gotten 2 and given up 1.  Edge goes to the Patriots.  They win a shootout in Orchard Park, 38-31.

Giants at Eagles - The Giants are beat the Rams.  They shouldn't have, but they did.  The Rams moved the ball pretty freely inside the 20s but could not make the plays in the redzone.  Not to mention the Giants had to fake injuries to slow down the Rams rapid no huddle offense.  This week they won't face the no huddle, but the Eagles are a team that knows how to finish drives even if Kafka is under center.  The Giants will not be able to contain the Eagles offense with their front four alone.  We can expect the Giants offense to struggle as they may have lost both Manningham and Hixson this week due to injury.  Eli Manning better buckle up his chinstrap this week.  The Eagles are #2 in the NFL with 9 sacks, while the Giants have already allowed 7 sacks and 12 QB hits.  Eagles win 31-20.

Broncos at Titans - The Titans have played better than most would have thought to start the season.  Despite Chris Johnson not producing much, they lost a close game to the Jags and beat the Ravens.  A correlation that can be drawn to both games is the time of possession.  Against the Jags they only lost by 2 and yet lost the ToP war by over 19 minutes.  Just a few more first downs or one less penalty and that game could have had a different final score.  Against the Ravens they had a nearly 10 minute edge, and we see how that game turned out.  The Broncos defense is not as good as the 2 they have already faced, and to this point they have only produced 5 game changing plays (3sacks, 2FF), putting them in the bottom half of the league.  The Titans are able to dominate the clock, and win the game.  28-24 Titans.

Texans at Saints - This is a matchup that a lot of people are looking forward to watching.  Not only is this a matchup of two excellent offenses, but more importantly everyone wants to see how good this new Texans defense really is.  I mean, are they as good as their #1 ranking or is it simply because they played the Colts and the Dolphins?  I think they are better, a lot better.  Not just because they have only given up 10 ppg, or that they have 5 sacks with 3 fumble recoveries.  I really like that fact that they only have committed 9 defensive penalties and are only allowing opponents to convert 24% on 3rd down.  The real test will be this week against Brees and company, who convert 55% on 3rd down.  I think the Texans defense holds better than the Saints defense this week in New Orleans.  Texans 31-27 over the Saints.

Jets at Raiders - The Jets have rocketed out to a 2-0 record after they trounced the Jaguars last week.  This week with the Raiders figures to be a perfect match up a power running game and a team designed to stop one.  The Raiders have had one of the best rushing teams for two years and they will have it ready to roll against the Jets.  The Jets on the other hand have an average of 88.0 yards allowed per game.   MJD racked up 88 on 18 carries last week in a losing effort, but he had zero support from his teams passing game.  That won't be the case in Oakland this weekend.  Jason Campbell has played better than some anticipated and is forcing opponents to keep eight out of the box.   The Silver and Black bounce back and upset the Jets in Oakland, 31-28.

Ravens at Rams - The Ravens got a huge monkey off their back on opening day, then proceeding to totally not show up for the Titans game.  This will not happen two weeks in a row.  The Rams should have Steven Jackson back but he will not cure their inability to finish drives.  The Rams needs to stop kicking field goals and start getting TDs.  They have been penalized 16 times on offense which has helped them kick a league high 6 field attempts after 2 games.  The Ravens push the Rams to 0-3, 27-16.

Chiefs at Chargers - This one could get ugly and early.  I expect the Charger's fans to start filing out in the third quarter.  I don't think anyone could have expected this from the Chiefs this year.  The injuries have hammered them already, and it is hard to tell what is worse their offense or defense.  Averaging 5 points per game and surrendering 44.5 ppg ranks you dead last on both sides of the ball.  Philip Rivers should have an AFC player of the week type of performance, and if Ryan Matthews is ever to have a breakout game, this would be the time to do it.  Like it or not, the Chiefs probably have a new QB and a new coach next season.  Chargers 39-10.

Falcons at Buccaneers - This game is a bit of a head scratcher because both teams are talented, but both have under-performed already this year.  The Falcons fought off the Eagles onslaught in the Georgia Dome, but would that have happened if Mike Vick was not knocked out of the game?  I guess we will never know, but Vick was getting hot when he got KO'd by his own player.  The Buccaneers did pull out a late victory over the Vikings, but it seems as much of a collapse on the Vikings part as a triumphant rally.  I am not sure what is going on with the play calling/gameplanning in Tampa as they seem unable to get the ball to both LeGarrette Blount and Mike Williams in the same game.  If they figure this out they might actually develop some offensive consistency.  This is a team with a load of talent but they just have seemed out of sync.  When your top receiver has zero receptions in a close game there is a problem.  Williams has caught 5 passes on 14 targets for a measly 46 yards and 1 TD.  This is not acceptable for a playoff hopeful team's top receiver.   The Falcons secondary is better than the Vikings, so it will not be an easy task.  I think this comes down the the Falcons running game versus the Bucs ability to stop the run and my money is on the Falcons.  They are averaging 124 yards per game at 5.8 per clip.  While the Bucs defense has yielded 156ypg at 4.6ypc.  Turner the Burner has another 100 yard game in what looks to be sloppy field conditions with temps in the mid 80's.
Falcons 24-17.

Cardinals at Seahawks - The Seahawks were supposed to focus on competition, but someone needs to let them know it's actually okay to compete with your opponents too.  This team really seems to lack direction right now.  With Tarvaris Jackson under center this team is averaging a whopping 8.5 ppg and they are the only team averaging less than 200 ypg offensively.  They actually have more penalty yards (138) than rushing yards (95) after two games.  They actually have more total penalties (30) than points (17) this season.  Kolb takes his 110.3 passer rating to Seattle and torches the 'Hawks 28-9.

Packers at Bears - You may not like Jay Cutler, most people don't.  He is a stoic person who sometimes is perceived as wimpy or uninterested in a man's game.  How dare he not be reeking of testosterone as the leader of his team.  How dare he not man up and play in the NFC championship game with an injured MCL.  I mean, it's not like stability in your knee is important in football.  Well it is, and especially if you are behind the Bears offensive line.  Listen, Jay Cutler get's a load of crap from a lot of people and the majority of it is unwarranted and unfair.  The dude has been absolutely pummeled since he arrived in the Windy City and he just keeps getting back up for more.  He has been sacked 98 times in 33 games, do the math.  He is a veritable tackling dummy and unfortunately for his sake, it's not light at the end of the tunnel, it's a train!  Green Bay is coming to town and these teams always matchup well against each other, but the Pack already have 7 sacks so far, and the Bears have allowed 11.  This game goes to the Packers because the Bears can not protect Cutler.  In the last 14 meetings a team has only scored 30 or more points 3 times, so don't expect a shootout.  Packers 27-17.

Steelers at Colts - This game could look ugly by halftime.  The Colts are getting hammed and either the offense or the front office are to blame.  Look Kerry Collins is a player I have respect for, there are many quarterbacks that come and go in this league that never reach 40,000 passing yards.  But for the Colts to expect him to come in a few weeks before the season starts and actually help this team compete is ridiculous.  He is not in the same, or even a similar system to anything he has ever run, and he has never played with these players or for this coach.  Collins is predictably struggling with a 50.7 completion percentage while averaging an awful 5.6 yards per pass attempt.  Collins was set up for failure, and so was this team.  Without a passing game of this caliber there is no way the Colts will improve their NFL worst 24:21 average Time of Possession.  The Steelers will win and win big, 37-13.

Monday

Redskins at Cowboys - This is an early season game for 1st place in the NFC East that no one except Rex Grossman would have predicted.  I am not much for hopping on bandwagons, but I like the Skins in this game.  Some may think it is crazy, but I think they are 3-0 after this week with an early choke hold on the division.  This is not a knock on the Cowboys, but they are just banged up right now.  Austin is out, Bryant is still up in the air and Romo is certainely not 100% right now and may not be able to play a whole game.  Romo will try to tough it out, but with almost no run game to lean on it is going to require him to throw early and often.  Meaning Orakpo and Kerrigan will be coming

I also think that what Rob Ryan has done with a busted up defense is pretty amazing.  Half of their secondary is busted and broken, but their front seven are playing great football.  This is a team that is quietly leading the league in sacks after two games with 10.  The Skins have only given up 5 sacks, but have allowed 16 QB hits, so there will be pressure.  Which leads us to a great matchup of DeMarcus Ware and  Trent Williams.  The Cowboys give them a good fight but the healthier Redskins outlast the 'boys, 24-20.

Tony Romo taking injury day by day

Tony Romo (rib/lung) admitted Wednesday that it hurts to laugh and said he's taking it "day by day."
Romo did an interview Wednesday and said he's sleeping in a chair. He insinuated that he may not be fully medically cleared yet. "I know that doctors are looking at it each day and we're trying to figure out the stuff with the lung that hopefully we're done here in the next day or two. If it's just about dealing with pain that's part of playing football and I know I'll be able to do that," Romo said. The extra day is really going to help Romo. We still expect to see him Monday night against the Redskins.

Colt McCoy urges team to get Little more involved in the offense

Colt McCoy singled out rookie Greg Little as a receiver the Browns need to make more use of in the passing game.
Little only has eight targets through two games, but he's gotten better by the week and looks to be on the verge of a breakout game. "Greg is starting to get the hang of it, [so] we’re trying to get him the ball a little bit more," McCoy said. "He’s a playmaker. You see what he does with the ball in his hands and he wants the ball. We’re excited about how far Greg has come."

Can you blame Colt for asking for ways to get more help offensively?  This is a cry for help.  The Browns passing offense is ranked 25th with less than 200 yards passing per game.

Patrick Chung has thumb surgery

Patrick Chung New England Patriots v Buffalo Bills
Patriots SS Pat Chung underwent surgery Wednesday to repair his right thumb.
ESPN Boston calls Chung's status "uncertain" for Week 3. Chung left last week's game with the third-quarter injury, but was able to return in the fourth. We suspect he will still start against the Bills, perhaps with a cast on his hand. Through two games, Chung has 14 tackles (13 solo), one sack, and a pass breakup. He'll lose some INT potential due to the injury.
