Adrian Peterson is "very, very doubtful" this weekend

Adrian PetersonAP
It doesn’t sound like the Vikings will haveAdrian Peterson in the lineup this Sunday.
He’s listed as doubtful with a high ankle sprain, but coach Leslie Frazier sounded even more pessimistic on Friday afternoon. Frazier, per Mark Craig of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, said that Peterson, who didn’t practice on Friday, is “very, very doubtful” to be on the field against the Falcons. Toby Gerhart is expected to get most of the work in Peterson’s place.
The Vikins ruled out safety Husain Abdullah, cornerback Chris Cook and guard Anthony Herrera. Tight end Kyle Rudolph is listed as doubtful, while tight end Visanthe Shiancoe and wide receiver Percy Harvin were both listed as questionable after limited participation in Friday’s practice.

Ndamukong Suh could have earned a suspension

Ndamukong SuhAP
In the very near future, the NFL will determine the sanction to be imposed on Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh for his stunning stomping of Packers guard Evans Dietrich-Smith.  And Suh’s refusal to express remorse or accept blame won’t help him.
The process will commence with Ray Anderson and Merton Hanks from the league office determining the proper penalty.  It can be a fine, it can be a suspension, or it can be both.  Suh’s history of fines for on-field infractions will be a factor, since repeat offenders typically receive higher levels of discipline.
