Ndamukong Suh uninjured in car crash

Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suhcrashed his car into a tree at 1:15 a.m. today, but he was not hurt and was not impaired, police say.
The Oregonian reports that Suh lost control of a 1970 Chevrolet Coupe while driving in downtown Portland. He hit a curb, a light pole and a drinking fountain before striking the tree, but he and his two passengers walked away without injuries.
Portland police say Suh was polite and cooperative when they arrived. It is not clear what caused Suh to lose control of his car.
The 24-year-old Suh grew up in Portland and his parents still live there. Suh is away from the Lions until December 12 while he serves his two-game suspension for stomping on Green Bay’s Evan Dietrich-Smith on Thanksgiving.

Report: Turner and Smith appear to be on their way out of San Diego

Both Chargers General Manager A.J. Smith and head coach Norv Turner are near-locks to be fired at the end of the season, according to a report in San Diego.
Chargers President Dean Spanos feels he has “no choice” to fire Turner, and Spanos will “almost certainly” fire Smith as well, sources told Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union Tribune.
Spanos appears to be particularly worried that the fans have tuned the Chargers out, and it may take new leadership to change that.
