Jason Peters re-injures Achilles in fall

Jason Peters‘ offseason has gone from bad to worse.
Derrick Gunn of CSNPhilly.com reports that Peters, the Eagles left tackle who suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon on March 27, has now re-injured the Achilles in an accident at his home, six weeks after he had surgery to repair the tendon.
According to Gunn, Peters was walking in his kitchen using a device designed to hold up his foot, so that he could get around without putting any weight on his injured Achilles. Unfortunately, the device (perhaps not designed for someone who weighs 350 pounds) broke. Peters fell, re-injured the Achilles and needs another surgery.

Bills sign Dorin Dickerson

Former Texans receiver/tight end Dorin Dickersonattended Bills rookie camp on a tryout basis over the weekend. Evidently, the athletic Dickerson performed well enough to earn another look in Buffalo.
The Bills announced Monday that they have signed Dickerson. The club reportedly envisions Dickerson as an “off the line tight end/H-back prospect,” and is listing him as a fullback for the time being.
Buffalo also signed undrafted rookies Nick Saenz, a safety out of Houston, and tackle James Carmon, who played his college ball at Mississippi State.
They released quarterback Aaron Corp and safety Ian Wild.
