Initial reports regarding the Chad Johnson arrest suggested that Johnson told police his head inadvertently struck the head of his wife during an argument in their car.
The official police report, obtained by TMZ, indicates that Johnson actually told police his wife applied the head butt to him.
The arresting officer, Christopher Epps, explained in the report that Johnson’s wife, the former Evelyn Lozada, told Epps that she “returned home . . . from shopping and began taking the items she purchased into the house.  While taking out the groceries, [she] located a Wal-Greens [sic] receipt in the vehicle’s trunk with a charge for a box of condoms.”

Andrew Luck's first pass is a 63-yard touchdown

No. 1 overall draft pick Andrew Luckcompleted his first preseason throw to running back Donald Brown on a shovel pass. Brown turned on the jets and reached pay dirt for a 63-yard touchdown, doing about 61 yards of the damage after the catch.
We’ll have a full rundown of the Colts and Rams’ first-team groupings from Sunday’s preseason game in a bit. But Luck’s pro debut couldn’t have gone much better.
Luck figures to play one or two more possessions before the Colts rest their new franchise quarterback in favor of backup Drew Stanton.

Is there a way to buy HBO stock on a Saturday night?
The arrest of Dolphins receiver Chad Johnson reportedly was precipitated by an argument over a receipt for a box of condoms that his wife, Evelyn Lozada, found in Johnson’s car.
Davie Police Captain Dale Engle reportedly said that Lozada confronted Johnson about the condoms.   Engle also said that Johnson allegedly head-butted Lozada in the vehicle when the couple arrived at their driveway.
Johnson claims that he and Lozada accidentally knocked heads while arguing.
Johnson remains in custody, and he won’t be eligible for release until a bail hearing, which could occur as late as Monday.
Meanwhile, the next episode — or two — of Hard Knocks suddenly got veryinteresting.
